The Bulls Head, Barnes, London - 30th January 2020

Happy New Year to all our friends, family and fans. Our first London gig for 2020 will take place at the Bull's Head, Barnes on 30th January. The quartet features Tommaso Starace on Alto and Soprano saxes, Serge Ngando on double bass, Greg McCarthy on drums and yours truly, on piano. We will be playing standards and a selection of pieces from my Siamsa Suite and from my latest album - A Kite for Kate.
The Bull's Head is a fantastic and iconic jazz venue, located in SW13 and has been operating for near 58 years!! It has hosted many of the world's most famous jazz musicians and I am honoured to have the opportunity to play there on the 30th January.
I look forward to seeing you all, there, for what promises to be a great night of music. Don't forget to put it in your diary!!

Siamsa

Just finished all the pre- mastering work on my new project. It is a Collection of Contemporary Compositions, to be released on 2 new CD's, in the next few months.
My gratitude to Tommaso Starace for his wonderful playing on my pieces and his enthusiasm for the project.
Particular thanks to Bernard O"Neill, whose sensitive playing on a number of tracks has enhanced the end result. Bernard's commitment also to the project, his professionalism on the recording and production, his patience and expertise has played a huge part in bringing this to fruition.
Finally, my thanks, also, to my daughter, Catherine, whose wonderful voice adds something special and unique, bringing another dimension to the pieces. I had the easy part in composing and playing but the contribution of Tommaso, Catherine and, Bernard, have made it special.
Mastering will now commence and I will update again soon with a taster and advice on a release date and launch.
